Albion will be without Andrea Orlandi again for the visit of leaders Leicester tomorrow.
The Spanish midfielder made his comeback from a knee operation as a second half substitute at Bournemouth last Saturday but was not in the squad for Tuesday's 2-1 home defeat against Barnsley.
The Argus revealed on Wednesday head coach Oscar Garcia's concern about a knock Orlandi suffered to the same knee.
Those concerns have persisted, with the knee still swollen and Orlandi resigned to needing rest and a possible return visit to the specialist who performed the surgery.
Will Buckley came through his second half return from hamstring trouble against Barnsley unscathed. Meanwhile, it is unclear whether long-term injury victims Leo Ulloa (foot) and Kazenga LuaLua (knee) will be considered fit enough to be on the bench.
