Will Buckley is in line for his first start for five weeks for Albion against table-topping Leicester today.

The right-winger made an impact after returning from hamstring trouble as a half-time substitute in Tuesday’s 2-1 home defeat by Barnsley.

The Seagulls have been starved of explosive pace in attacking areas, with Buckley and left-winger Kazenga LuaLua sidelined simultaneously.

Head coach Oscar Garcia said: “If we have no pace up front then other teams can play against us in a different way and we want to have different options to play.”

LuaLua, out since early October due to a knee operation, has returned to training but is likely to be eased back into contention. Albion’s left-wing options will be reduced once Craig Conway ends his spell on loan from Cardiff.

Conway makes his farewell home appearance today. The Scottish international's stint on the South Coast expires with next Saturday's trip to Middlesbrough.
