Bruno: We can't afford a repeat

The Argus: Bruno in action at Wigan recently Bruno in action at Wigan recently

Albion right-back Bruno has admitted standards cannot be allowed to drop against the leaders today.

The Seagulls look to make up for their 2-1 midweek reverse to bottom side Barnsley as the top team in the Championship come to The Amex.

Bruno said: “We are angry because we had a really good chance to be in the top six.

“It’s not just the score, it’s the manner. We failed to meet our standard of play and we cannot do it again.

“They had a new manager which was motivation for them but for us each game must be really important.”

Oscar should consider using a sports psychologist. It's worked for us and has moved us up to second from bottom in the prem. We'll all get nose bleeds if we climb any higher up the league. Easy win for The Albion tomorrow. Bruno to score the winner and Bridders to have a stormer which in turn will push his potential transfer fee up a bit.. Football scouts will no doubt be at the match. Watch out for Wearside accents.

Ruddy right we don't want to see a repeat performance of Tuesday's debacle. I heard a few boos at the end of the game, (not me I might add). Another performance like that and the unrest will escalate. I envisage a much better performance with a narrow 2-1 win. At least I hope so.

Tuesday night showed that at end of the day it's all about class, in the first thier midfield were aloud to show theirs, & when Buckley came on we were able to show ours, but by the time we got our confidence it was to late as we were 2 goals down, when Kemy came on he showed some quality, but we will be running out of time soon, because even with all our "Quality" players back they will need time to jell.
