Crawley have appointed former Portsmouth manager Guy Whittingham as first team coach.
He has joined his old Pompey boss John Gregory in time for tomorrow’s game against Preston.
Whittingham was recently replaced in the Fratton Park hot seat by Richie Barker, the man whose sacking by Reds led to Gregory’s arrival.
Crawley aim to get back to winning ways when the new management duo take charge of their first home game against North End.
Reds drew 0-0 at Bristol Rovers in an FA Cup tie last weekend, Gregory’s first match at the helm.
Whittingham said: “I saw them play at Bristol Rovers and felt they should have won the game.
“You can see there is a good team spirit and a good work ethic and that takes you a long way.”
