Leo Ulloa has been named on the bench for Albion’s game away to Middlesbrough today.
The Argentinian striker has missed nine matches since fracturing a foot bone against Sheffield Wednesday at the start of October.
Stephen Ward has been passed fit to take his place at left-back despite a foot injury.
Peter Brezovan continues in goal in place of Tomasz Kuszczak (stomach) while Adam El-Abd, who came on early for the injured Gordon Greer (calf) in the win against Leicester last Saturday, partners Matthew Upson at centre-back.
While Ulloa was back on the bench, there was no place in the matchday squad for loan striker Leroy Lita. Will Buckley also continues to be missing.
