Agustien and Buckley start, Brezovan keeps place

The Argus: Kemy Agustien Kemy Agustien

Kemy Agustien has been given a chance to shine in the rain at The Amex – and Peter Brezovan remains between the sticks.

Meanwhile Will Buckley is the man chosen to provide attacking width in the absence of Craig Conway as Albion take on Huddersfield today.

Agustien replaces Andrew Crofts in midfield for his first start since August.

Brezovan’s assured performances in wins over Leicester and Middlesbrough mean he remains first choice, even though Tomasz Kuszczak has recovered from a stomach muscle injury.

The big Pole joins Kazenga LuaLua, Leo Ulloa and Crofts among the subs.

Ulloa made his comeback from a fractured metatarsal in the final few minutes of last week’s win at Middlesbrough.

Conway completed his three-month loan stint by playing a big role at the Riverside.

Albion: Brezovan; Bruno, El-Abd, Upson, Ward; Ince, Bridcutt, Agustien; David Lopez, Buckley, Barnes. Subs: Kuszczak, Crofts, Calderon, LuaLua, Andrews, Ulloa, Dunk.

If you took the time to read my comment properly you would notice that I was speculating on what Oscar might decide, and even then I only used the word, 'perhaps,' another failed attempt by you to be clever.

Yep a wet and possibly heavy pitch could take it's toll today, but both teams have to deal with it. It will be interesting to see if we get after Huddersfield in the same way we did against Leicester. I fancy a win for us today but I also expect a tough match, hope I am wrong on the latter.

Crofts---maybe Oscar wants to see whether Augestien is up to it as he has not had much playing time--about time he stepped up to the mark. Crofts can always be bought on if needed. A bit of a rotation also--maybe??

Hi Tug, yeah it does look as though we have added some muscle into the eleven, maybe the conditions had something to do with that decision.
Who do you have in your bet today Tug?

Yep that's possible, to be honest I had forgotten about his yellow card tally. Is it after today's match that the yellow card number rises?

Hey Vegas ,i got the sense of a physically strong spine to our team today ,PB,LB,RI,KA,AB ,and i`m sure the conditions have played a massive part ,even on our carpet . I just hope our lads keep on their feet ,otherwise i can see a few cards flying around ,let them pick them up ! .

As for my bet ,i am ashamed ,i put Derby again ,i know ,i should know better ,it`s obviously an illness ,but i have also done us of course and an old manager of ours ,R Slades L.Orient ,there is a good line in the sun today ,it`s been a while since Slade were No1 at Christmas ,and Dag +Red as for my last choice ,i`m keeping that a state secret for fear of ridicule ,but i promise it is not the snotgobblers up the A23 . I believe that he has been carrying an injury over the last few matches, hence he didn't join Wales' squad. He is probably being given a rest.

Let's hope the fitter version of Augestien is a worthy replacement.

If the BBC figures are correct it appears that we are dominating possession, 68% but not dominating the match, Huddersfield have had 7 shots to our six from just 38% possession.
Oscar needs to tweak things just a little.
