Andy Drury believes Crawley can challenge for a place in the top six if they can string some results together.

Reds return home today to face MK Dons with both sides buoyed by great results on Saturday.

Dons beat Port Vale 3-0 but Reds topped that with a 3-2 success at leaders Leyton Orient.

Drury is relishing life under recently-arrived boss John Gregory, who has yet to taste defeat at the helm.

He said: “The new manager has come in and got us back to basics. We’re pressing teams all over the pitch and winning the ball back a bit higher up.

“We’re getting the ball forward quicker but passing it as well so we’re mixing the game up which has been good.

“We are playing with a bit of freedom now and you can see that confidence is growing. We got a great result at Leyton Orient on Saturday which has set us up nicely for the busy Christmas period when there are lots of points on offer.

“We’ve got to take that victory in to Boxing Day now and hopefully win against MK Dons and then keep going.

“I think getting into the play-offs is possible but to do that we need to go on a little run.

“We have got a bit of ground to make up but if you can put three or four wins together then suddenly you are right back in it.”
