Sussex non-league football fans have been given some good news this morning with a number of games beating the weather.
Eastbourne Borough's Skrill Conference south game at home to Eastleigh has passed an early morning pitch inspection.
Peacehaven's Ryman south top-of-the-table clash with Leatherhead at the Sports Ground is also on, as is Lancing's County League division one match at home to Chichester.
East Preston's County League game at home to Selsey is also on subject to a final decision by the match referee.
It was feared the Sussex non-league programme could be facing another washout after the heavy rain which has greeted 2014.
The matches involving Bognor, Worthing and Crawley Down at home to Three Bridges were called off yesterday.
The postponement of that game followed the decision to call off Crawley Town’s FA Cup second round replay at home to Bristol Rovers.
Lewes' match away to Canvey Island in the premier division was the first Sussex-related Ryman game to go this morning, followed by Eastbourne Town's trip to Corinthian-Casuals in the south division.
Burgess Hill's match at home to Tooting and Mitcham was also postponed this morning along with Horsham's game at home to Faversham and Hastings United's trip to Redhill.
Whitehawk's Conference south game away to Havant and Waterlooville has now been postponed.
