Gordon Greer has been passed fit for FA Cup action at The Amex today.
Greer returns from a calf injury as one of eight changes to the Albion side which faces Reading in the third round.
Ashley Barnes, target of an offer from Burnley recently, starts but there is no Liam Bridcutt in Oscar Garcia’s match day 18.
Albion have announced via Twitter that Bridcutt, Tomasz Kuszczak and Matt Upson “don't play as a precaution due to minor injuries.”
Adam Chicksen gets a first start at left-back, Solly March makes his full debut further forward and there is also a return for Jake Forster-Caskey.
Stephen Ward, Leo Ulloa, Rohan Ince, Kazenga LuaLua and David Lopez are among those who drop out of the 11.
Today’s referee is vastly experienced Premier League official Chris Foy, who took charge of the 2010 final between Chelsea and Portsmouth (awarding two penalties) and last term’s semi between Chelsea and Manchester City.
The Merseysider has not taken charge of an Albion game since the opening weeks of the 2006-07 season, when they lost 1-0 at Bristol City in their last match under Mark McGhee’s management.
Albion: Brezovan; Calderon, Greer, El-Abd, Chicksen; Andrews, Crofts, Forster-Caskey; Agustien, March, Barnes. Subs: Ankergren, Dunk, Orlandi, Ward, Ulloa, LuaLua, Ince.
