Loan signing Matt Tubbs goes straight into the Crawley Town team for their League One clash with Coventry City today.

Tubbs has not started a first team match since November 23 but John Gregory has had no hesitation in handing him a second full debut for Reds at Sixfields.

The on-loan Bournemouth forward comes in to replace Emile Sinclair and will partner Gary Alexander up front with Gregory preferring the veteran despite Jamie Proctor ending a 15-game goal drought against Bristol Rovers in midweek.

The other change to the team which crashed out of the FA Cup so disappointingly against Rovers is a recall for skipper Josh Simpson.

Simpson has not started a game since the goalless draw at Crewe Alexandra at the end of November. He has been on the bench for the last two games after recovering from a hamstring injury but is preferred to Sergio Torres.

Coventry are missing injured top scorer Leon Clarke with an groin injury and with 15-goal Calum Wilson still sidelined with a dislocated shoulder it means midfield Franck Moussa is pushed forward to play as the lone frontman.

Defender Jordan Clarke does return following an ankle problem with Conor Thomas also back after suffering concussion on New Year's Day.
