Micky was an important part of our regeneration as a club and, for me, will always be an Albion hero. He brought players like Richard Carpenter, Watto, Danny Cullip and Paul Brooker to the club, and persuaded the board to buy Bobby Zamora. We may have moved on since those days but I still remember the sense of hope he brought with him.

The above comment is spot on. I saw him when Oxford played Port Vale last season at Oxford. He always has a good side in the lower leagues...I think its 5 times he has got a side promoted.

Oxford haven't a clue how to get out of League 2, with Micky in charge they would!

UTA!

Yes it would be good to go up against Mickey's Port Vale but we also have a good connection with Argyle and Fans United. UTA
