Micky Adams is relishing the possibility of facing Albion in the FA Cup.
The two-time former Seagulls boss takes his Port Vale side to Plymouth Argyle for their third round replay tonight after they surrendered a 2-0 lead at half-time in the first meeting.
Adams said: "From a personal point of view I would love to play Brighton at Vale Park.
"But there is an awful long way to go yet and we have to work extremely hard."
Albion are set to meet the winners in the fourth round on Saturday January 25.
