Whitehawk moved out of the Skill Conference south relegation zone with a 3-1 win away to Basingstoke tonight.

They went ahead when Jake Robinson made a tremendous run from his own half before setting up top scorer Danny Mills for a simple finish on 22 minutes.

The home side drew level 11 minutes later when a defensive error allowed Kezie Ibe to run clear and level.

Tommy Fraser restored the advantage with a delightful free-kick on 65 minutes and victory was secured in the second minute of stoppage time when substitute Alex Addai broke clear from the halfway line to fire past goalkeeper Louis Wells for his first goal for the club.

Lewes threw away a 3-0 half-time lead to draw 3-3 away to Canvey Island in Ryman premier.

Nathan Crabb (two) and Luke Blewden put the Rooks in control at the interval but a second-half hat-trick from John Sands earned the hosts a point.

Lewes played the final quarter with ten men after Sam Gore was sent off for a second bookable offence.

Bognor moved into the promotion places after a five-minute hat-trick from Terry Dodd either side of half-time earned them a 4-1 win at home to Lowestoft.

Dodd netted on 44, 47 and 49 minutes – all after the visitors had gone ahead. Arron Hopkinson got their other goal on 52 minutes.

Danny Curd scored twice from headers as Burgess Hill won 2-1 at home to Whitstable Town in Ryman south.
