How will Albion line-up at Derby? And what team would you pick?

The Argus: Oscar Garcia has plenty to think about Oscar Garcia has plenty to think about

Albion have injury problems as they take on high-flying Derby today.

Andrew Crofts and Kazenga LuaLua have both joined the absentee list in the past week and Will Buckley is still out.

On top of that, Adam El-Abd has moved to Bristol City and any hopes of bringing in Lewis Grabban in time for the game have been dashed.

More encouragingly, Andrea Orlandi seems to be feeling his way back gradually after a knee operation and could start.

So how will Oscar Garcia set up his team today? Who will he pick?

And what XI would you send out at the iPro Stadium if you were in the hot seat?

We’d love to know your thoughts.

I agree with this team being the likely scenario. What is frustrating for me is yet another injury to Lua Lua. With him, Buckley, and Orlandi in the squad, we've got three injury prone players. I wonder when / if ever, all 3 of them have been available at the same time. Not often I suspect. 3 players so prone to injury is a liability in my opinion. I just hope that any new signings are tougher, more robust players than them, as well improving the squad.

I think it's safe to assume you won't be required by Oscar. Picking only ten players and no goalkeeper for a massive Championship game are hardly the credentials of savvy coach or manager.

You can be pretty assured that we will start with a defensive formation and mindset. LU up front on his own. The interesting selection will be the midfield. Will Buckers and KLL out, we don't have the pace to break forward as quickly as normal, and we don't have AB to sit in behind LU. Let's see what Oscar comes up with. Solely, or JFC? Or neither?

Got to play Bridcutt......he's still our best player and is fit again. If we don't then I think we can safely say he's off.

Tomas, Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward, Andrews, Ince, David, Bridcutt, Forster-Caskey, Ulloa

Subs Brez, Obika, Calde, March, Kemy, Orlandi, Chicksen

And that's about it.........which is why we need to get in 2-3 players, 4 if Bridders goes.

You might be right Graham, but then Orlandi's as bit lightweight too.....basically, we're now seeing what a huge miss Crofts is going to be, and why we need to replace him.

I don't know, I think that HMR+C is due a start: a very costly player that one!

IMHO we really need to replace the massive attacking threat we've lost in Lua Lua and the driving play of Crofts but what we have is what we have.

Orlandi is class and although not as devastating as Lua Lua, has his own talents.
Agustien is I think one of our most creative players... He makes us tick and something looks likely to happen when he is on the ball.
I've added Solly for David as I think we need at least someone with pace on the pitch and tbh, I also think he deserves a shot.

I always think that when you play for a point you stand a good chance of losing, so I would have an attacking approach against Derby, maybe more than expected.

Back five we all know, put Bridders with Andrews in front of them. Ince in for Crofts, Solly for Kaz, David and Ulloa.
