Port Vale have brought back star striker Gavin Tomlin as they look to shock Albion.
Tomin, who scored in four successive games before suffering a hamstring injury, returns alongside target man tom Pope for the League One side.
Former Seagulls midfielder Doug Loft, now skipper at Vale, will operate on the left flank in the fourth-round tie.
There were suggestions from the Potteries that Loft could be used at left-back, where the hosts are missing the suspended Carl Dickinson and injured Daniel Jones.
Instead Rob Taylor plays on the left of defence.
Port Vale: Neal; Grimmer, Robertson, Davis, Taylor; Myrie-Williams, Griffith, Lines, Loft; Tomlin, Pope. Subs: Johnson, Yates, Dodds, Shuker, Williamson, Birchall, Hugill.
