Albion striker Craig Mackail-Smith makes his comeback from ten months out in the under 21's at Brentford today (1pm).
Mackail-Smith has been missing since rupturing an Achilles at Bristol City last March and then breaking an ankle during his recovery.
He tweeted this morning: "Thank you for all your messages, means a lot. Excited to be playing some part in the game today, another step closer to a 1st team game."
Mackail-Smith is the only over-age player in Simon Ireland's squad, although new signing Jeff Monakana is likely to make his second appearance since his move from Preston North End.
Albion from: Smith; Walton; Deen, Dallison, Rea, Hunt, Asmundsson, Monakana, Starkey, Mackail-Smith, Dickenson, Richards, Harris, Barclay, Muitt.
