Will Buckley will still be missing for Albion at Burnley tomorrow night.

The winger, linked with a move to Sunderland or Crystal Palace, has not played since suffering a recurrence of hamstring trouble at Blackpool on December 29.

Head coach Oscar Garcia told The Argus: "He's not joined in training with the group. He's not ready to play on Tuesday."

Tomasz Kuszczak, Bruno, Gordon Greer, Stephen Ward, Keith Andrews, David Lopez and Leo Ulloa are all expected to return to the starting line-up after they were rested for Saturday's FA Cup win at Port Vale.

Albion have until 11pm on Friday night to sign replacements for Ashley Barnes - now at Burnley - Adam El-Abd after his move to Bristol City and the injured Andrew Crofts.

Oscar said: "I hope when the transfer window closes we will have some players who will strengthen the squad. The aim is to bring in players who will improve the team."

The Argus understands Cardiff are weighing up their options for former Albion loan winger Craig Conway, who was not in their squad for Saturday's FA Cup victory at Bolton.

Conway is being linked with the Seagulls' Championship rivals Blackburn Rovers.

Joe Mason, one of Albion's striker targets, started the match at Bolton. Cardiff are on the verge of borrowing Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha and signing Stoke centre-forward Kenwyne Jones.

Irish defender/midfielder Shaun Williams, who chose a move to Millwall rather than Albion, has completed his medical and is signing a two-and-a-half year contract with Ian Holloway's Championship strugglers.
