The Argus: Dale Stephens Dale Stephens

Is Albion's new signing Dale Stephens the right man to fill the boots of Andrew Crofts, who is out injured for the rest of the season? We would love to know what you think (check out his wonder goal which you can see on line on The Argus website) so join the debate here.

Could turn out to be a great buy, although time will tell, and he has got to get used to our style of play. Hopefully the Bridcutt saga will soon be over and done with, and I personally thank Bridcutt for his services to the albion and wish him well on his next chapter in his career. Hope the funds are available for a return of Conway, and I still hope another defender. Word out at the moment is that this striker from Spain will sign tomorrow morning . David Rodriguez

Tony the tiger some well expressed points with which I am sure many concur, certainly I do.
This is the first permanent addition to the main squad this window and I hope two or three others will follow if time (27 hours) allows. With Monakana having joined the DS and with the 23 year old Obika on Loan it's good to see some young blood being brought in.
Given that Bridcutt is probably signing for Sunderland hopefully we will get Conway back plus a CB and a striker to replace Barnes - Rodriguez sounds interesting.
Much midnight oil still to be burnt by Burke and his team who are clearly hard at work exploring various options. Whether there is still sufficient time left to acquire all the club's potential targets is questionable but with luck Burke & Co will succeed
