Almen Abdi has been ruled out of Watford’s home clash with Albion.

The talented attacking midfielder has suffered a recurrence of a persistent foot problem and misses the Seagulls’ visit tomorrow.

Lewis McGugan (thigh) also misses out but new Hungarian midfielder Daniel Tozser could feature.

The former Genoa man has not played a competitive match this season but Hornets say he is in shape to play, subject to international clearance.

Watford also picked up defensive midfielder Samba Diakite from QPR yesterday but lost Iriney to Mallorca.

Beppe Sannino’s men have won just one of their last 15 league matches, a run which includes their 1-1 draw at The Amex three months ago.

They have switched to a 3-4-2-1 formation of late and could use Fernando Forestieri and Ikechi Anya just behind 11-goal top scorer Troy Deeney.

Don’t miss The Argus this weekend for a comprehensive preview of Albion’s game at Watford.
