Albion have handed new boy Dale Stephens an immediate debut at Watford today.

Deadline day signing David Rodriguez is on the bench after receiving international clearance following his amicable split with Celta on Thursday.

Stephens replaces Rohan Ince, who is not in the 18 for today’s Championship fixture at Vicarage Road.

The other change to the side which drew 0-0 at Burnley on Tuesday is the return of Andrea Orlandi in place of Kazenga LuaLua.

Albion: Kuszczak; Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward; Andrews, Stephens, Forster-Caskey; David Lopez, Ulloa, Orlandi. Subs: Brezovan, Calderon, Dunk, March, LuaLua, Rodriguez, Obika.

Wow... Our most attacking threat and only player we have with pace dropped to the bench.

What happened to attacking, hurting and scoring as many goals as possible?

Let's hope we can nick a win

I hope this won't we another Derby or Burnley result... They were both there for the taking

A line up looking for another draw I'm afraid. I know OG likes only 1 up front but we are over half way through the season and this formation has hardly seen us get a glut of goals. Why won't he try two strikers in a game? Play with two recognised strikers for 4 or 5 games and if it doesn't work then go back to 4-5-1. Why is he afraid to try? Only 6 teams in the Championship have scored fewer than us - please Oscar, break the habit of a lifetime.

Hopefully I will be able to remind all the negative posters about their pre-match comments - after we have won 2-0 !!

Stephens, Orlandi, Lopez and JFC are all attack minded midfield players who can score. They key is how effectively they get forward to support Ulloa. If we had Andrews, Ince and Agustien in midfield I would be more worried about us scoring. Talking of which, I dont think OG/NJ have a very high opinion of Agustien as he is struggling even to get in the match day squad. Not a great signing in my view.

If we can't give a good supply of quality balls to one striker, what makes you think we can to two strikers.
The single striker system does work but you have to have creativity in midfield and a goal scoring threat from midfield. Whether or not this chosen eleven can give us both qualities we will know shortly.

Very petty Chi Gull

We are all entitled to our opinion just as you have given yours re Agustien.

We all want the same thing

Match stats after 30 minutes reads: Albion possession 66%- shots 1,
Watford possession 34% - shots 6.
When will we learn to play a more attacking game. We need wins not draws so we have to be positive.
What's positive about leaving Lua Lua, March, Obika & Rodriguez on the bench ?

Feeling frustrated already !!

Lack of ambition by the board, matched now by the coaching staff !, surely at this stage of the season we need to go for wins, but it seems not !. Ulloa looks as if he is very fed up, no wonder, feeding off scraps and no support, can our management show some ambition please. obviously they have been told that they will be out of work if they get us into the play offs. Fans want to see wins and pay to see goals.
