Kazenga LuaLua has put his Albion future on the backburner to concentrate on his performances.

LuaLua is among several first team regulars out of contract at the end of the season.

The club have an option to extend the deal signed by the winger in 2011 to make his third loan move from Newcastle permanent.

LuaLua revealed to The Argus: “I’ve got the option, the club option after this season, so it’s up to the club really.

“I am just concentrating on playing football then who knows? Anything can happen.”

LuaLua is happy at Albion and is keen to stay.

“I would like to,” he said. “Of course, it is a good club but you never know where the future lies, we’ll have to wait and see.

“I just want to get on with my football, do the best that I can for the team.”

Albion face LuaLua’s former loan club Doncaster Rovers at the Amex today with a seven-point gap between them and the play-offs. “It’s a big game,” he said. “We’ve got four at home now and we have to try to win all four. For me, if we want to finish in the play-offs, it’s a must-win game.”
