Crawley Town's fixture backlog has grown further after their League One game at Brentford today was postponed.

The Griffin Park pitch failed an inspection at 10am this morning after further rain overnight.

It is the sixth game in six weeks Crawley have had postponed due to waterlogged pitches.

Reds have only played three games during 2014 and will have six games in hand on some of their rivals after today.

John Gregory's side are already due to play games on seven out of the next eight Tuesdays with the earliest the match could be rearranged for being Tuesday April 8.

It means they have 21 games to squeeze into 77 days starting from next Saturday's home clash with Carlisle.
