Eastbourne Borough's play-off hopes were dented as they went down to a shock home defeat to rock-bottom Dorchester Town.
Borough failed to adapt to difficult conditions at Priory Lane and were sunk by a second half goal from Sam Lanahan which ended a run of five straight defeats for Dorchester.
Tommy Widdrington's side rarely threatened with the closest they came to scoring coming when Sam Cole headed against the bar in the first half.
The result leaves Borough in seventh place in Conference south while Dorchester remain rooted to the foot of the table.
