Albion head coach Oscar Garcia admitted his delight for matchwinner Leonardo Ulloa after a 1-0 victory at home to Doncaster.
Ulloa netted his first goal in seven games with 15 minutes remaining to claim the three points.
Oscar said: “We started really well but when you have a lot of chances and don’t score you can maybe lose your confidence. But we kept playing well, creating chances and finally Leo took it really well.
“He’s been exactly the same player that we know. It will be good for his confidence but he is helping us a lot, not only scoring goals but creating chances, creating spaces for his team-mates. I think he is doing his job.
“I am sure he will be really pleased with his goal.”
The Albion chief also hailed the contribution of Solly March.
He added: We know Solly March is one of our young talents. We are trying to help him improve as a player. He has enough quality to be an important part of the first team at Brighton in the next years.”
