Oscar Garcia expressed a mixture of emotions after Albion’s 1-1 draw with Hull City in the fifth round of the FA Cup at the Amex.

The Seagulls’ head coach was proud of his young side but also disappointed they were unable to hold on for a win.

He said: “In the first half we were the better side, in the second half the game was very even. We had the chances to win but the game could have gone either way.

“I am really pleased with the performance of all my players, especially the young players.

“When you concede late on you can be a little bit disappointed but my feelings are really good. I am really happy, not with the final result but happy because all my players show to everybody they can play in the Championship and most of them are good enough to play in the Premier League.”
