Albion were left chasing a second-half solution again at the Amex today.

The Seagulls have gone six home league matches without netting in the first half.

They trailed 1-0 to Wigan – against the run of play – today despite a very bright first period.

Dale Stephens went closest when he hit the underside of the bar when he really should have scored.

But Seagulls fans are used to seeing their side kick off the second period in search of a breakthrough.

Since going 2-0 up at home to Leicester on December 7, here’s how they have fared in the first half of league games here at the Amex.

Dec 21: Huddersfield 0-0 – game ended 0-0

Jan 1: Bournemouth 0-1 – Albion forced a 1-1 draw

Jan 11: Birmingham 0-0 – David Lopez volleyed a second-half winner

Feb 8: Doncaster 0-0 – Leo Ulloa headed a late winner

Feb 11: Leeds 0-0 – Ulloa scored the only goal of the game in the second period

Feb 22: Wigan 0-1
