Eastbourne new boys Danny Halsey and Lewis Blackbird have been learning the best way around Arlington.

They were among about 20 riders enjoying the first practice of the year at Eagles’ home track.

The duo will be at reserve in the new season after being drafted by the club over the winter.

Despite heavy recent rain, conditions were dry and dusty at Arlington as riders and a few spectators took the chance to get in the mood for the new campaign.

Racing at Arlington kicks off on Saturday, March 22, when Joonas Kylmakorpi stages his testimonial.
