Millwall have been urged to disrupt Albion’s passing game – and earn only a second home win in seven games.

The Lions are just above the Championship drop zone ahead of the Seagulls’ visit.

But Saturday’s game is expected to attract a big crowd – including a sizeable away contingent – and Millwall believe a red hot atmosphere will suit them.

Midfielder Shaun Williams said: "Playing at home will be a big advantage for us with the atmosphere that the fans can create.

“Hopefully we can disrupt Brighton's style of play, which won't be any different to what it always is in terms of trying to keep the ball and be attacking.”

Millwall were a little fortunate to grab a 1-1 draw with Bolton in their last home match.

David Forde saved a penalty from Lukas Jutkiewicz, who had earlier put the Trotters ahead, before Martyn Woolford levelled.

Forde is likely to play on Saturday after recovering from a dislocated finger.

Williams operates just ahead of the back four in a 4-3-3 system.

The Lions’ only home win in 2014 was 1-0 over play-off hopefuls Ipswich.

They have also beaten Leeds and Wigan at the Den this season and shared creditable 2-2 draws with Nottingham Forest, Burnley and QPR.
