Lingard makes debut, Ince ruled out

Albion have thrown Jesse Lingard straight into their starting line-up.

But there is no Rohan Ince in midfield as the Seagulls visit Millwall today.

As feared, Ince has not recovered from the ankle injury suffered at Hull on Monday.

Keith Andrews looks set to fill the holding midfield role.

Lingard, signed on loan from Manchester United this week, will work off in-form striker Leo Ulloa, who aims to score for the sixth game in succession.

Albion have not scored an away goal for 322 minutes of league action, since Inigo Calderon netted at Blackpool on December 29.

They will be keen to put that right against a team with comfortably the worst defensive record in the Championship.

However the Lions have tightened up of late, twice drawing 1-1 and then losing 1-0 in their last three fixtures.

Albion: Kuszczak; Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward; Andrews, Stephens, Orlandi; David Lopez, Ulloa Lingard. Subs: Brezovan, Dunk, Calderon, Forster-Caskey, March, Rodriguez, Buckley.

Em, no pace or width up front then ? Looks like we're aiming for aTechnical knockout rather than blitzekrig . Hope it pays off.

so I guess Oscar is looking for Orlandi and Dave to give us some width, as you say, hope it pays off.

Orlandi and Lopez to provide the ammo for our front 2, as long as Stevens and Andrews can hold the fort, Andrews needs to have a good game as he has been hit or miss of late imo, plenty of options on the bench with pace for second half when the lions are tired.
Let's hope for a quick return for Ince, with home games against Reading and QPR to come he will be vital, the next 10/11 days could see us right in the mix again.
Any news on Kemy Agustien, he seems to have disappeared off the face of the planet!
2-1 today to the Albion and back on track for the playoffs. UTA

Yes. As feared, it seems Garcia is playing Lingard as a winger replacement for Buckers or KLL (Not even on the bench, injured?)

you could be right Claude but it looks ot me that Oscar might have given the lad a free role with Orlandi pushing wide as and when, I only say, 'might,'
