4:53pm

The pressure continued into added time.

Forde went forward for a corner but Albion cleared.

They then got the ball forward - and Ulloa delighted fans behind the goal as he won a corner from where Albion played out the few remaining seconds.

Final: Millwall 0 Albion 1

4:49pm

Buckley won a corner which led to  few moments of activity deep in the Millwall half. And that all ended when Buckley volleyed well wide after chesting down.

Then it was back to the other penalty area and Kuszczak came out amid a group of players to hold Feeney's cross.

A misunderstanding between Greer and Kuszczak over a long ball caused chaos - but Malone's cross was hooked behind for a corner.

That flag kick was headed down towards McDonald who could only shoot wide from a difficult angle.

Still Millwall came and Garvan could have made himself a hero in the 90th minute as his 25-yarder flew just over.

4:44pm

Next time Feeney got the ball on the right wing he went outside Ward and hung up a cross - but it was too close to Kuszczak who gathered with ease.

Bruno looked a bit unlucky to see yellow when he seemed to get a foot on Malone's ball past him. The deep free-kick was headed clear by Ward.

But Stephens' attempt to launch March on a counter was way off target to the annoyance of some fans in the away end.

4:40pm

March replaced Orlandi - and then Albion cleared another ball launched into their box.

Still a nervous finale loomed as the Seagulls struggled to keep possession or mount any counter-attack threat.

Feeney crossed from the right and Kuszczak went out a long way before clutching the ball at the second attempt.

4:38pm

Albion won a corner but Forster-Caskey's delivery was poor.

4:35pm

As a chance opened up for Albion, Forster-Caskey saw his shot blocked.

Millwall countered and Stephens was booked for a foul.

Malone curled towards the top corner but his effort flicked off Woolford and floated over the bar.

The hosts sent on Feeney for Jackson.

4:26pm

Buckley made a run into the box but was unable to find Lingard with his pass.

However the winger was also having to track back to cover Malone, the attack-minded left-back.

A hint of a chance opened up for McDonald just inside the box to the left of goal but his tame curler was easy for Kuszczak to gather.

Lingard had had a quiet debut - apart from provoking a storm at the penalty incident. He was replaced by Forster-Caskey on 66 minutes as Albion sought to better manage possession.

4:22pm

Andrews produced some very good defending to tidy up in front of goal after a long ball was flicked on.

The hosts put the ball back into the box but McDonald hooked a shot way over under pressure.

4:19pm

Then Millwall introduced another striker as former Middlesbrough man Scott McDonald replaced defender Lowry.

That left the Lions with three at the back.

4:18pm

It promised to be a long second half for Albion - unless they could quell the hosts by scoring on the counter.

With a view to that, Oscar Garcia sent on Buckley for David Lopez.

Millwall also made a change, sending on striker Morison for Easter.

4:15pm

When Albion had a chance to counter attack, Lingard made a mess of his lay-off to Stephens, who would have been charging in on goal had he been found.

4:13pm

Millwall were looking the more dangerous side early in the half though.

A teasing cross just evaded Easter and Ward at the far post and Kuszczak had to scurry out of his area to kick into touch and complete the clear-up job.

Then a low cross somehow ricocheted off Bruno in front of goal and landed at the foot of Easter, whose snapshot hit the bar from close range.

Millwall had stepped thhings up a gear in the second half and their fans responded.

Greer did well to clear a dangerous cross.

4:08pm

Millwall flung an early free-kick into the box in the second half but Kuszczak handled securely.

Then they won two quickfire corners as they attacked the home end.

But Ulloa helped Albion defend the aerial threat.

Then, on the counter, David Lopez angled a low ball across goal but just too far ahead of Orlandi at the far post.

3:48pm

Bruno's first-time pass sent Ulloa racing away from near halfway down the inside right channel in added time. Ulloa made ground and looked set to shoot.

Instead he fed the ball inside for Lingard, whose shot was blocked at source by a covering defender.

Half: Millwall 0 Albion 1

3:43pm

Home fans were irate at the penalty decision

3:42pm

Albion were given a golden chance when Lingard went down under pressure from Shittu as they chased Ward's long throw into the area.

It looked a slightly soft penalty and Shittu was booked for protests.

Forde has a decent record of penalty saves but DAVD LOPEZ sent him the wrong way from the spot.

3:32pm

Millwall were keeping the tempo as high as possible while Albion looked to be more patient and intricate in possession.

Malone went on a dangerous run to just outside the area, where Bruno stuck out a long leg and nicked the ball away from him. But Albion could get nothing going on the counter attack.

3:29pm

Bruno produced clever footwork to release Orlandi, this time on the right, but his cross was headed away by Shittu

3:27pm

Albion worked a great chance in the 24th minute.

Orlandi curled in a perfect cross from the left and Ulloa pulled away from his marker. But the striker seemed to slip as he went to head the ball and it turned into an ungainly effort which went too close to Forde, who blocked on his line and then gathered the loose ball.

3:23pm

Ed Upson worked his way past a couple of tackles tight to the left touchline before the third, by Bruno, brought him down.

But Malone's free-kick was headed partly away by Matt Upson and further clear by Bruno.

3:19pm

David Lopez poked a clever pass through Malone's legs to send Orlandi away and it should have led to the first serious Albion threat.

As the move continued, Bruno stood up an inviting cross to the far post but Ulloa got his contact all wrong as he rose for the header.

3:12pm

Stephens won possession 25 yards out but his shot bounced comfortably wide of Forde's right-hand post as Albion started to settle.

3:10pm

A foul by Bruno offered another free-kick chance five yards outside the box but Williams' curler went straight to Kuszczak.

Lingard popped up on the right and his work helped create room for Bruno to cross - but Shittu cleared.

3:06pm

Millwall made a bright start and won a free-kick in the inside left channel.

They sent plenty of players into the box but Ed Upson looked to surprise Kuszczak by curling inside the near post.

His effort was just too high, landing on the roof of the net. But it met with approval from home fans.

3:03pm

Lingard, in bright orange boots, started wide on the left with David Lopez out on the right.

There was a terrific atmosphere around the Den.

3:02pm

Albion defending a very well populated away end in this first half.

2:59pm

The play-off hopefuls visit the team just above the bottom three - but there are sub-plots too here at the Den today.

They involve loan deals which happened this week. Plus one which did not come off last year.

Jesse Lingard is thrown straight in to start after joining the Seagulls from Mancester United for the rest of the seaosn.

Meanwhile Owen Garvan is not just a new recruit for Millwall. His arrival also enables them to play a new shape.

And then there is Simeon Jackson, the striker Albion wanted to take on loan last March. That deal did not come off - and now he finds himself asked to lead the attack against the Seagulls in place of out-of-favour Steve Morison.

The teams are out, both sets of fans are singing. Kick-off is moments away...

That's lucky, we're embarrassed at having you pretend to be one.
