Kemy Agustien is playing for Albion's development team at Bristol City today (1pm).
The Seagulls are trying to get the mercurial Dutch midfielder fitter for first team action.
Agustien has dropped out of the first team picture recently after signing from Swansea in the summer.
Assistant head coach Nathan Jones told The Argus: "Kemy will get fitter and will get games in the under 21's".
Will Hoskins is expected to play at least a half against Bristol after a brief goalscoring return from a year out wtih serious knee damage against the same opponents at Lancing a week ago.
