Hoskins steps up Albion return

The Argus: Will Hoskins (left) on his return to action in the development team Will Hoskins (left) on his return to action in the development team

Albion striker Will Hoskins has been earmarked for a rare 90 minutes as he steps up his recovery from long-term injury.

He is expected to play the whole game for the development team against Swansea at Lancing on Monday night (7pm).

It follows two partial appearances for the under 21's after a year out for the unlucky front man with serious knee damage, the latest for 62 minutes at Bristol City on Monday.

Hoskins has not played more than 82 minutes for the first team in 21 outings since signing from Bristol Rovers in July 2011.

A bit of positive news again today (on top of the expected availability of Ince and Ward for Saturday). Good to hear Hoskins is making progress. Just hope he isn't brought back too soon. Looking forward to seeing him back in the squad when he's ready.

Wow that's less then 4 minutes a game on average, I thought he had played more than that.
But what do I know?

Yes, but how do you know he is quality? Only played 21 times for us in nearly three seasons and never finished a match!

Er, because when he has played he has looked quality, perhaps?
