Midfield poser for Oscar. But what would you do?

The Argus: The fitness of Rohan Ince will be a factor for Oscar to take into account The fitness of Rohan Ince will be a factor for Oscar to take into account

Albion are ready to unleash Jesse Lingard for his home debut at the Amex today.

But Oscar Garcia has plenty to think about in midfield as Reading visit.

And that could even impact his thinking in one of the wide positions as he picks his team and bench for another Championship six-pointer.

Andrea Orlandi is out of action and there are doubts, to varying degrees, over Rohan Ince and Dale Stephens.

Does Keith Andrews operate just ahead of the back four and Ince, if fit, play a bit further forward?

Does David Lopez start? And, if so, is it in midfield or further forward out on the right?

Does Will Buckley or Kazenga LuaLua return to the XI? Will Jake Forster-Caskey come back in?

And where does a goalscoring threat from midfield come from?

There is plenty to ponder. So what team will Oscar send out?

And what side would you select?

Question posed by Argus…Does Andrews operate just in front of the back four? IMO…NO, HE STAYS WELL AWAY FROM THE STARTING XI.
IF I were picking the team today it would be….if all are fit….4,1,3,1,1

Don't think you're getting the point, Conelli, that would be the side if everyone was fit, but with the doubts.........

OK, i get your point, so I would have to play Andrews but if Kemy was fitter I would rather start him than Andrews or JFC.
If everyone was fit, I wouldn't start with DS, I would play Crofts but as I'm bored I will give you my starting xi without INCE and STEPHENS and Orlandi.

Ill have some of that... I actually think that RI will be fit today and so all id do is replace Andrews with our young starlet.

What I think is more likely though is:

Tom
Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward
Ince
Buckley, Lopez, JFC, Lingard
Ulloa

Really looking forward to this afternoons game.

If, as I suspect, Ince doesn't play we will get outmuscled, absolutely no doubt. I would start with Agustein in preference to JF-C as he would give us more power albeit he would run out of steam after 50/60 minutes.

Expect to draw at best.

Kuszczak; Bruno, Greer, Upson, Ward; Ince, Andrews; Buckley, March, Lingard; Ulloa.

If Rohan doesn't make it, I'd take out Buckley too, put March on the right and put JFC and Lopez in.
