Jamie Proctor has been rewarded for an impressive performance off the bench against Stevenage with a starting role for Crawley at Gillingham today.

Proctor starts for only the second time in seven games as Reds attempt to pull off a double against the Gills.

The former Swansea striker sparked a second half comeback against Stevenage and will partner Matt Tubbs up front. That means Billy Clarke drops to the left-hand side of midfield.

Proctor's inclusion is one of three changes for Crawley from the side which drew 1-1 with Stevenage at the Checkatrade.com Stadium on Tuesday.

Joe Walsh returns after playing for Wales Under-21s against England on Wednesday to resume his partnership with Kyle McFadzean in the heart of the defence.

Manager John Gregory has opted to stick with Paul Connolly at right-back after a solid debut against Stevenage with Mark Connolly unfortunate to drop to the bench.

Dannie Bulman also returns to the starting line-up in place of Hiram Boateng in the centre of midfield while captain Josh Simpson is not included in the squad at all.

Rory Fallon does make the bench having missed the Stevenage game as he was playing for New Zealand in Japan.

Gillingham make four changes to the side which went down 2-1 against Bristol City in their last game, Myles Weston, Craig Fagan, Jake Hessenthaler and Joe Pigott all coming in.
