Will Hoskins has declared himself ready to contribute to Albion's Championship challenge after 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat for the development team against Swansea at Lancing last night.

It was his first full appearance as an over-age player for the under 21's, and third in total, since a year out with serious knee damage and two operations.

Hoskins told The Argus: "It breaks another barrier, gives me confidence.

"I am ready and waiting, that's how I feel. I played 30, played 60, played the 90, got a full game under my belt.

"I've been out for a year. I wouldn't say I am at my sharpest. That's me being honest. I like to have quick fit but that is only going to come with games and if you are chucked into the big games you forget everything and you have got to be big, strong and compete. I feel like I am ready."

Great news for Will, and we await cms being ready as well, only thing now is do either even if fully fit get a start? I can't see OG changing his shape or tactics ... So will one leave this summer, if neither can get a start, surely we need a reserve number 9 rather than two talented subs who are going to sit on the bench till we are ready to chase a game, yes we need cover if ulloa was injured, but neither player can play the back to goal role.
Tonight's game is not about the result ,but our intent in the first 30 minutes, we need to show we are up to score goals ( not one) and play with a tempo,
Looking forward to seeing Morrison play, touted as the new gazza 3 years ago, his private life and choices apparently got the better of him,
We need to score more than one to win tonight, but I would rather lose the game if we showed real intent at winning the game, reason I say that is we can afford to lose one in three games if we win the other two, at the moment it's pretty painful watching our midfield trying to pass the ball forwards.

Agree, hope Stephens is fit, JFC just doesn't cut it at this level. Need pace to support Leo, start with Buckley, Lingard, Ince,Andrews and Stephens.
