Two things wrong here.

1/ Slim chance of playoffs for us. Not entirely run out of hope yet though.
2/ We definitely won't finish 5th as, according to the article, we'd have to be 'entertaining'. Again, I haven't run out of hope here either.

Roll on 7.45 please!

win tonight are we are right there again, I am not sure that our squad is fit enough, and due to that, good enough, but nothing is known just yet.

You're right. Been plagued all season by a series of one off injuries and other recurrent ones (WB for example). I don't mind squad rotation as much as some others but it's a shame it's due to injuries. Without those we would be right in there. CMS looks like he went well last evening and maybe he can manage a proper game in the next 3 aways, or at least from the bench in the second half. Shame he can't do it this evening although I'm still trying to work out how and where he'd be positioned given current tactics and set-up.

Vegas I admire your optimism but there really is an air of resignation about the place, as if 'somebody' should be taking responsibility. We are missing quality, we had it but Bridcutt was sold, others were injured, and characters like El Abd who had some passion and grit are not with us anymore. Saturday was as dire a performance as I have seen. It's not that we are losing games, it's the abjectness of the defeats which is disappointing.

Realistically, we need to win all of our last games to be in with a chance of a play off spot. That seems distinctly unlikely on current form. We can't rely on others slipping up anymore , as there are just too many teams in the mix now - they won't all slip up. Smacks of too little too late but tonight is last throw of the dice for me. I've been reluctant to criticise Oscar , but will have to agree with everyone else if he doesn't play the most attacking team possible tonight - from the get go ... SEAGULLS

On the point of where CMS might fit in, I'm afraid that under the current pattern of coaching decisions during matches it might go like this........opening period of ten minutes, some forays by the Albion into thier half and a couple of chances on goal. After that, plenty of passing in our own half, and when we do break into the opposition half we give them time to get behind the ball. Second half, much the same only this time the opposition make one decisive attack and score. Still we wait, and then Kaz is introduced, if we manage to get the ball to him, gets in a couple of good crosses, but no one gets on the end of them. Then with ten minutes to go, and possible a second breakaway goal from the other team, Jones tells CMS to get on the pitch. We hammer their half of the pitch and their penalty aea, but they get everyone behind the ball to defend their lead.
Sorry it's negative, but that's how the last performances have left me

You may well be right, they have the momentum and they also have Hart, still scoring with that famous left boot that did for us at home against Reading a couple of seasons ago, and also Grabban who knows how to take a penalty, and the lad from Charlton who cost them less than Stephens cost us, and is more effective!!
