Inigo Calderon wants to stretch his stay with Albion.
The long-serving right-back is among 11 members of the first team squad out of contract at the end of the season.
Calderon is keen to extend his career with the Seagulls, despite becoming second choice to fellow Spaniard Bruno in the last two seasons.
The 32-year-old, who will start the next two games at Barnsley tomorrow and Leicester on Tuesday with Bruno banned, said: "I am really proud to have been here for four and a half years and I would love to be here longer.
"I don't know what is going to happen, because in football you don't know what is going to happen tomorrow.
I will just try to train today perfect, try to get ready for tomorrow and get the three points and then we'll see what happens."
