ALBION boss Oscar Garcia has refused to give up on joining Leicester in the Premier League as the Seagulls attempt to complete an unlikely double tonight against the promoted leaders.

The Spaniard has not thrown in the towel, despite his side falling five points adrift of the play-offs after five games without a win.

Oscar told The Argus: "We have to believe that we can pick a lot of points up between now and the end of the season.

"It has been a difficult season in terms of injured players and a lot of things but we mustn't give up. We have to keep going.”

Leicester have surged to promotion with 15 wins and six draws in a 21-match unbeaten run since Albion defeated them 3-1 at the Amex in December.

The Seagulls are the only side left with the chance of beating them twice but Oscar expects no easing of the throttle by the Foxes, with a maximum ten points needed from their final six games to clinch the title.

He said: “They have showed they are and have been the best team in the League and that's why they will be playing in the Premier League.

“They have been very strong in defence. It's so difficult to create chances against them. They have key players up front, on the flanks and also in midfield.

“Drinkwater, for me, is the best midfielder in the division. He can do everything - get into the box, create chances, defend - the quality and ability to do everything you need from a midfielder.

“They have threats up front, a lot of players that can play different styles, and they have showed a lot of determination. It's not easy to go unbeaten for 21 games.

“We have showed we can beat anyone and we'll try to do it again. It won't be easy, because we are playing away, but we have to show character and go there and have a go.”

Rohan Ince, back in training after a dead leg, could rejoin former Leicester loanee Jesse Lingard in Albion's starting line-up.
