Keith Andrews has urged Albion to follow Bournemouth's example to haul themselves right back into the play-off hunt.

Bournemouth were ten points adrift four games ago before Albion lost at Sheffield Wednesday, then at home to Middlesbrough four days later.

The in-form Cherries are now level on points with the Seagulls and looking most like the team with the momentum to catch their visitors this evening Reading in sixth.

Andrews said: "The ones we're probably most disappointed about are the Middlesbrough and Sheffield Wednesday games.

"We dominated those games and came away with no points. At Blackburn we showed character and Barnsley was always going to be a difficult place to go, because they are fighting for their lives.

"I thought we showed good character there as well. Obviously, we could have played better at times on the ball but it's not so much Saturday, it's overall.

"Equally the message we are trying to get across is that's it still there, still an opportunity.

"A week ago nobody would have thought Bournemouth were in with a chance of the play-offs. They have put themselves in there so why can't we be that team in the next ten days?"
