Oscar Garcia hailed a spectacular team display after Albion won 4-1 at Leicester tonight.

The Seagulls' head coach admitted it was possibly his side's best win of the season.

Now he wants them to maintain momentum at home to Charlton on Saturday.

Oscar said: "Maybe with the ball it is one of the best we have played away.

"I don't want to speak about individuals because the performance of all the players was spectacular.

"Now we need the support of all the fans, as they have been doing all the game, we need to keep playing like this and hopefully, on Saturday, our performance can be similar to this."

It's pretty much certain that had we not won today, our push for the top six would have been over but we didn't lose, in fact we won the match in the way that Leicester thought they would with a quality performance.

Timing is everything and unleashing Lua Lua, along with Lingard, Solly and Ulloa, might have been a great peice of timing by Oscar.
Kaz struggles to play two 90 minute matches on the bounce, at times he struggles with just to one, but if ever we were going to go for a full court press, then against Leicester was the time to do it, we had to.
After today's performance and result we surely will take on Charlton with the same team, and with a renewed confidence, and if Kaz only manages 45 minutes then so be it but by then we should be leading.
Playing Charlton will be very different to taking on Leicester, one has promotion and the other is still looking for safety.

I would not be surprised to see Dunk play in our next but I would guess that this would be the only change, Dunk for Greer.

Its about pressing high up the pitch which is the Oscar way but we have not been doing. CMS showed us that on Saturday but we didnt score. Rubbish is being talked about OG not wanting to attack.

I don't see us too often, so I can't say the regular frustrations vented here about negative tactics has been wrong, but what I saw last night were players willing to push forward, willing to take responsibility and pretty much in control of all they did. At times, we had 2/3/4 players interchanging in attacking areas and I have to say Keith Andrews, did a sterling job in front of - and sometimes alongside - the central defensive two to set things off. Unspectacular, but impressive.
Does it put everything right in one go? Of course not, but you couldn't fail to be impressed.

just got back from Leicester......just like to say this is whats capable when you start with an attacking formation.....lua lua, march and lingard were too quick for their fullbacks....why didn't you do this from the beginning Oscar? its poor negative management that may have cost us a play off spot....ulloa must have thought it was his birthday with the amount of chances created for him....feed him and he will score.please stop tinkering with the squad now you've found a winning formula....uta

Vegas, the thing is that he was so busy not supporting Brighton (by any definition) that his points aren't valid. I was keeping in touch via the BBC and Argus websites. For the first half the possession figure was more like 60-40 to the Albion, can't remember the exact number. So half our goals came from possession football. In the second half we scored another two. Leicester brought on a couple of subs at half time and the possession balance changed. Towards the end we put on JFC then SD and CMS. And during that few minutes at the end Leicester had alot of possession and scored their consolation. The sum total of all of this was a possession percentage which is less than we've been used to. Frankly with 4 in the bag that doesn't really matter, but some can't see that.

Although the BBC figures will always come with a health warning anything stated by this contributer clearly don't need one.

Don't worry jarmonesque i'm still here with the same beliefs. Not been available earlier as i went to Hove to watch Sussex beat Middlesex then up to the golf club for a stroll in the sun. Thank you for thinking of me!!!

It has taken him 40+ fixtures to even get close to getting it right.. Let's just wait and see what happens especially over the 3 home games to come. Perhaps if he had a clue Brighton would be in Leicester's place.

such BS, Oscar made one chosen change from the line up he sent out against Barnsley, Lua Lua, and you say 40 matches before coming clse to putting out a good team

Wrong formation all season. Everyone knows it even the distant fans.

I said in early January that the squad was up to it. The problem is the coaching personnel and even last night's fabulous result has not changed my mind.

Lots of people now doubt Oscar and Jones. They are also beginning to understand what a dreadful job Burke and Day have done.

Wholesale changes, shirts in the middle!!!
