Leo Ulloa has urged Albion to forget all about play-off permutations – and concentrate on turning on the style at home.

The 14-goal striker admits the Seagulls have reignited their top-six hopes with a 4-1 win at Leicester on Tuesday.

But he reckons they cannot get caught up in working out who needs what or which team can pip them to a play-off berth.

Albion face a home test by lowly but in-form Charlton as they return to the Amex on Saturday.

Ulloa, right, said: “If we keep thinking about play-offs, it’s going to make life more difficult.

“Of course we are conscious of where we are in the league table but we need to keep producing performances.

“There are lots of teams involved and this race for the play-offs is not straightforward.

“Any team playing like we did on Tuesday have got to have a chance but we need to keep thinking about the game that’s coming up.

“Charlton will be very different – just like Barnsley was last Saturday, “That was a real battle, lots of long balls.

“I love playing like we did on Tuesday – not just because of the win but because of the style of football we were able to play.

“But it won’t always be like that.”
