Magical minute thrills the Amex

Albion’s play-off hopes were boosted by a magical minute at the Amex today.

Leo Ulloa thumped an emphatic 15th goal of the season, just seconds after Charlton hit the bar at the other end.

Ulloa’s strike sent the Seagulls into a 2-0 half-time lead over the Addicks.

His goal came less than a minute after the Addicks were inches from an equaliser.

Reza Ghoochannejhad saw his shot deflect off Gordon Greer and loop almost in slow motion over Casper Ankergren.

But the ball hit the bar and bounced down in front of goal.

Albion cleared a follow-up attack and then struck in stunning fashion as Charlton claimed offside.

The hosts went ahead in the 11th minute when Lingard produced a classy finish after Kazenga LuaLua nicked the ball off Diego Poyet.

we need to sustain the magic over 90 minutes to justify the huge cost of going to games at the Amex.

I'm hoping that the contributions on this thread will be dynamic and interesting - not boring and predictable as at present.
Good result which lifts supporters and the margin of victory could be important. We'll see....

A great game, we were head and shoulders above. On the front foot throughout and all playing for each other. Loved it - nice one lads! Uta!

My glass is definitely more than half full at present.
The midfield balance has been much better.
Andrews looks assured as the sole DM.
Stevens' work all over the midfield promises a lot for the future.
Kaz, Jesse & Solly were swapping positions throughout, causing all sorts of problems for there defence. And Leo seems more mobile in this system.

Well done OG & NJ. We have hit form at the right moment

25 quid in the North Stand, few pints at the Swan on the way,Guinness at half time and full, not a bad day out for the money
Not exactly huge costs but then again you must say that all football grounds are more or less out for the dosh, not just BHA
Have a nice weekend
