Jesse Lingard and Leo Ulloa struck again as Albion moved into the top six today.
The strikers, both of whom netted at Leicester in midweek, were on target in the first half today to set up a 3-0 win over Charlton at the Amex.
Jake Forster-Caskey added a late third on a terrific, upbeat afternoon for the Seagulls.
Victory sent Albion into sixth place pending Reading’s home game against Leicester on Monday.
Lingard produced a classy 11th-minute finish after Kazenga LuaLua had nicked the ball off Diego Poyet.
Ulloa added a thumping right-foot finish on 43 minutes as Charlton claimed offside.
That goal was particularly galling for the Addicks, coming just a minute after Reza Ghoochannejhad’s effort hit the Albion bar after deflecting off the impressive Gordon Greer.
Albion saw it through comfortably in the second period and should have extended their margin.
Lingard fired over when clean through and sub Forster-Caskey curled a free-kick inches wide.
Forster-Caskey rounded things off with a crisp finish in added time.
