Sussex ended the long wait for victory at Edgbaston today as coach Mark Robinson was interviewed for the vacant England coach's job.

Robinson was not there to see Sussex wrap up victory, he is believed to be in contention for the England job along with Ashley Giles, Peter Moores, Mike Newell and Trevor Bayliss.

Skipper Ed Joyce led the way with 151 not out as Sussex completed a seven-wicket victory against Warwickshire to made it two wins out of two in the Championship this season.

Sussex had not won at Edgbaston for 32 years but put that right in emphatic style as they continued their electric start to the campaign.

Sussex, 273-2 overnight and needing 57 runs more for victory, were in no mood to hang around.

They lost Rory Hamilton-Brown for 54 but Matt Machan hit 24 not out as Sussex cruised home.

Joyce, with two hundreds in the match, faced 237 balls and hit 18 fours.
