Lingard still United with Albion

The Argus: Jesse Lingard Jesse Lingard

Albion do not expect the upheaval at Manchester United to interfere with Jesse Lingard's loan spell.

The England under 21 international was signed by the Seagulls for the rest of the season, including the play-offs, at the end of February.

Ryan Giggs is in interim charge at Old Trafford following the sacking of David Moyes.

Nathan Jones, Albion's assistant head coach, said of Lingard: "He's on loan here until the end of the season. I'm sure they will honour that. "I don't think they are going to drag him back but he's a fantastic player. I'm sure he has a big future at Man United."

Lingard has scored twice in 13 starts for Albion. The versatile striker has yet to make a senior appearance for United.

I don't think he has a big future at United. They'll sell him within a year I reckon.

Agree that he has no future at Man U, two questions, have we seen enough to want him here? has he seen enough to want to come here?

I'm sure there are a lot of Prem &Championship clubs who will look at Jesse and think he can do a job. If the price is right why not us? He is a class player who thinks way ahead of some of our players. We just need to have players on the same wavelength. UTA

I no the game is live somewhere on a TV station but the good old BBC radio 5 sport seem to be unaware that there is a game on.
I use the Seagulls player but when we get to the Premier League our club should tell the BBC where to stick there microphones and you cannot print it on here.
As I say I can listen on the player but it just sticks in the craw our club seems to be treated by the broadcasting media or have I missed something?
4-0 tomorrow PLEASE

Why does Jesse have no future at MU? Bizarre posts. He has a football brain far in advance of anyone else at BHA, with the exception of Orlandi. I'd rather watch his raw talent and energy than Ulloa's 'don't give a stuff anymore' attitude. I've liked watching the young lad and he will do well at MU if he's patient.

Contract ends in June, so a free transfer if he is not retained.
Has he found his level, or is he going to be a top player?
He appears to have plenty of confidence in his own ability, and if he is not retained, He will be looking for a move within the Premier League. Could he end up here? I almost hope not, because Vegas will be on my case for calling him wildly over-optimistic when he suggested it!

Cannot see any logical reason as to why M U would need him back at this time with so little to play for. A full year on loan at a Championship club would do him no harm.

I wouldn't be, 'on your case,' it was just a thought of mine, no more no less, in fact I can make a good argument why he won't come myself, so I coudn't have a problem with anything you might say on this subject.

We should get Lingard if the price is ok. We can`t afford not to.There is not much about of his quality and age available. We need to keep Ward as well. I`d like to get Zamora back ( it`s a realisitic possibility ) for a push next season. I`d like Orlandi to stay and Kusack. Crofts will be back as Hoskins will be. We need better quality in midfield and upfront. We need to let a few go ( no names, we all have our opinions ) and buy a Central Defender , a strong experienced ball winnng midfielder, a midfielder who can hold and create something, We have the wide all round / player/ winger in Buckley ? but we need more creativity in midfield. We need to spend at least £10m in the summer plus the money from player sales to even have a chance of next season`s play offs . REALITY HAS HIT US.
