Joe Ralls is congratulated on his goal for Yeovil at Leicester

First published in Sport by

Yeovil skipper Jamie McAllister wants to enjoy another great awayday before his side slip out of the Championship.

The experienced left-back says there have been good times on the road, including the 1-1 draw at Leicester recently, as he prepared to take on Albion at the Amex.

Former Seagulls striker Chris Wood was credited with the goal which rescued a 1-1 draw for the would-be champions that night.

But it looked like a header from goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel might have bounced behind the line before the Kiwi struck.

Joe Ralls' opening goal against the Foxes offers Albion a warning as to what the highly-rated midfielder on loan from Cardiff City can do at free-kicks.

McAllister has enjoyed the Glovers’ season in the second tier.

He said: “A lot of games stand out but I think the game at home against Forest, when we beat them 3-1. We were quality on the day.

“Going away to Leicester and getting a point, away to Wigan and getting a point - teams who are up there.

“We’ve been so close in so many games but just come up short.”

He warned Albion: “We’ve been in this position all season, going away to teams like this who are challenging and just expect to beat us.

“But we’ve not been that easy to beat!”

Yeovil will have done their homework, so why not change it a bit to fool them!
3-5-2. If after 30 minutes it's not working change it slightly! We need to win and score goals. Attack Attack Attack.

Buckley, Stevens,Ince, Lopez, Lingard,

I can agree with 3-5-2 but Dunk must be in the back 3 with Greer and Upson to cover for Gordon's lack of pace. Bruno and Ward can then play as wingbacks with Lingard Stevens and Lua Lua. Not sure how long CMS would last but Buckley can cover for him with Ulloa. This at least is an attacking team which we desperately need.

Yeovil skipper Jamie McAllister wants to enjoy another great awayday before his side slip out of the Championship.
What he means is that he want to put himself in the shop window to try and get move to another Championship team.
I don't think that Yeovil will be a walk over the players will be playing for new contracts and possible moves.
I would still expect us to win tonight but no goal fest; hope I'm wrong we need to improve our goal difference.

For pete`s sake ,same side but more of the Leicester spirit ,Charlton are a better side ,and we managed a 3-0 . I live in the West country and have to take the continual stick ,be it Yeovil or Mouthbourne ,if we dont put this bunch of League 1 players to the sword ,for a possible PO place ,then we dont bloody deserve it . UTA

I LOVE BRIGHTON ,MY HOME ,I AM NOT GOING TO TALK LIKE A POLITE LITTLE ACCEPTANCE OF DEFEAT ,IS ACCEPTABLE , WHEN WE NEED 2 WINS ,OR PERHAPS A MORE GIRLY APPROACH IS GOING TO DO IT , I HAVE NO WISH TO OFFEND ,BUT SOME OF THE ATTITUDE HERE ,REFLECTS THE LACKLUSTRE ,THAT HAS COST US RECENTLY ,WE ARE GOOD ENOUGH , BUT NO BUGGER SEEMS TO BELIEVE IT !!!.
