Oscar Garcia tonight praised Albion’s patience in their win over Yeovil.

But he admitted they could have made life easier for themselves.

The Seagulls had to wait until the 78th minute before making the breakthrough in a 2-0 success.

Their reward was a place in the top six overnight.

Albion’s head coach recognised it was a nervous night.

He said: “We knew we needed to be patient. We knew that, in the second half, we would find more spaces and create chances.

“But the game could have been easier for us if we had taken our chances in the first half.

“We had two clear chances but we didn’t take them.

“When you don’t score in a game like this, it is not easy to be patient.”

Oscar had words of support for Andrea Orlandi, who missed those two chances on an otherwise impressive return after almost two months out.

He added: "It is not easy to play again because he was out for a long time but we thought he would be fit enough to play and he did his job."
