Whitehawk secured Skrill south safety in dramatic circumstances today.
Hawks drew 3-3 at home to Sutton and heard rivals Hayes and Yeading had been beaten by a late Dover goal.
Jake Robinson (penalty), Danny Mills and Waide Fairhurst scored for Hawks.
Fairhurst's 77th-minute leveller ultimately proved crucial as Hayes conceded an 87th minute penalty to slip into the drop zone.
Hawks had to wait four minutes after the end of their match before the final whistle at Hayes signalled survival celebrations.
Boss Steven King said: "What this group of players has done for us is quite amazing."
