Boss John Gregory felt Crawley Town were hard done by to return from Bradford City empty-handed.

Jamie Proctor looked like it had earned Reds a point when he came off the bench to cancel out Aaron McLean's opener.

But Gary Thompson headed home the winner for the Bantams with four minutes to go to condemn Crawley to a fifth away defeat in six games.

Gregory said: "I felt we deserved at least a point. We looked very comfortable at 1-1 and we had numerous opportunities to get a second goal.

"At that point I thought there was only one team who was going to win the game but we messed up at a corner and Bradford nicked the points.

"It's been tough for us on the road. We have not performed any where near as well as we should have done throughout the season away from home.

"We've had some stunning victories at the top teams like Peterborough and Leyton Orient but next season we need to focus on beating the teams in the lower half of the table."
