Albion's player of the season Matt Upson is confident Burnley will not throw in the towel at Reading on Saturday.

The Seagulls need to take more points from their trip to Nottingham Forest than Reading in their home game against Burnley to pip the Royals to a play-off place.

Burnley are already promoted and guaranteed to finish runners-up behind Leicester but Upson predicts there will be no let-up from Sean Dyche's side.

Upson said: "Their manager indicates that with his philosophy and the attitude he wants to instill in every training session and every game. I think that has got them where they are.

"He is not going to throw that away at one game. We've just got to hold up our end of the bargain and see what happens."
